Mushroom Tapenade


Mushroom Tapenade

This is mushroom tapenade, it has 3 different mushrooms.  It’s a great appetizer with veggie dippers.  My kids love it with crackers.  Hope you do too.

Ingredients:

1½ lbs. mixed, fresh mushrooms, button, shiitake, oyster, etc.
3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. minced fresh rosemary or thyme
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Remove any tough stems from the mushrooms.
Place in a food processor with the  garlic, rosemary.

In a large pan add 3 Tbsp. olive oil and sauté the mushrooms for 20 minutes.
Taste and season with salt and pepper.
