Well I can’t believe that I haven’t posted my food diary in over a month.  Anyhow I messed up yesterday when I had 2 TB of hummus that totaled 20 carbs!!!  I had no idea. So that’s the main reason I need to keep track of my food daily and every bit has to be accounted for.  So I’m making a promise to myself that I’m writing it before I bite it!!!

Today was the first time in a long time that I actually stayed within the 20 carbs.   The kale chips were a big hit.  I’m going to have to make them again tomorrow.

The weekend was a crazy busy, a lot of temptation I ate some things I shouldn’t have but over all I still held it together.
Today I happen to have 3 carbs left over!!!  Yippee!!!

Today started out great, ate good, counted everything and had an amazing workout.  I have 0.5 carbs left in my allowance.  I think that’s pretty funny.  Yeah Me!!!

I did really good all day until dinner came, I made chicken and salad and then my kids wanted to turn their chicken into Chicken Tacos, so I caved in and had 3 tostito shells (it’s a flat taco shell).

I did really good today until dinner rolled around.  My darling husband was in the mood for take out and I told him go ahead since I plan on making my dinner.  Which I did, I had a chicken breast with pesto cream sauce & a salad.  But the french fries smell sucked me in and I caved and ate 10 fries and then I wrote it down.  Crap!! I’m so mad I did that.

I made a booboo today!!!  My kids had their friends over and I put out some fruit and munchies.  I had some of those sour cream and onion rings.  I had to walk away for I’d eat more!!!  I need more control.

Yesterday I did ok with my carb counting but today was a different story.  I worked out, drank 64 oz water and I have 2 carbs left over…I can’t believe I only ate 18 carbs today.  If I write it down I really can keep track of my carbs better.  Today I’m did it a little different, instead of adding it up at the end, I’m subtracting  what I eat from 20 carbs, that way I can see how many carbs I have left for the day.  Here’s what I ate.

Food Log—Wed Jan 19 2011

This is my food log for today, hope you’re able to read it good.  Starting Monday  I’ve been keeping track of what I eat in this notebook and I’m finding that I’m doing so much better at staying within my 20 carbs daily allowance.

Did I mention how much I LOVE my new iTouch, I took this pic of the notebook.  This might just be the new way of posting my food log, it’s so easy and I’m not stuck typing everything in.

I had a great day today.  I went shopping and bought myself the new Dana Carpender Carb Counter.  It’s a great book to have for us carb counters.
