Vacation


I’m on vacation visiting family for 2 weeks and it’s been great seeing  everyone.
My kids are having a blast with their cousins and swimming almost everyday.   We’re really working on our tans heehee.  The other night we went to Little Italy for some gelato.  Yummy!!  had a few spoons to taste and it was so good.

Food:
I’m doing good and sticking to my low carb lifestyle. My mom’s amazing in the kitchen and I haven’t strayed too far.

Exercise:
Had a good workout the other day when I went to the gym with my sister.
The other night we speed walked for an hour and did 4.60 km.
Saturday morning I grabbed my iPod and listened to my favorite podcast The Jillian Micheal’s show as I walked/jogged at 7:30am for 30 mins, I did 3.40km.
Saturday night met my sister for a cappuccino and dessert at an outdoor terrace and after we went for a two hour walk and did 7.20 km.  We burned off any calories we had from the pie.

This massive pie you see before me is a Caramel Fudge Cheesecake, I shared this with my sister, we couldn’t finish it, too rich. 

Today we have plans to spend the day outdoors with the kids and maybe do a little shopping, site seeing …who knows??  But I’ll post again and keep you updated cuz I know you’re all anxiously waiting hahaha

1 Coffeee, splenda, (no milk) = 0 Net Carbs
1/4 cup Ricotta = 3 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 3

Lunch:
Taco Salad
5 oz Lean Ground beef = 0 Net Carbs
2 cups Romaine lettuce, 1 TB PC Ceasar dressing = 1 Net Carb
4 Kalamata olives = 0 Net Carbs
2tb Sour cream = 3 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 4 Net Carbs

Dinner:
Butternut squash soup = 10 Net Carbs
Mini meat loaf = 2 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 12

Snack:
1 piece Biscotti-Lilly’s Sugar Free Chocolate = 4 Net Carbs
10 almonds = 1
Salami 6 pcs= 2
Total Net Carbs: 7

Total Net Carbs for today :  26
Target for today:  20 Net Carb

P90X Day 2 + Daily Food Log



P90X -Lean – Phase 1

Day 2:
Cardio X

2 for 2 another great workout.  Maybe next week I’ll swap Plyo for Cardio X, just to change things up a bit.

Breakfast:
2 Coffeee, splenda, ½ cup milk = 7 Net Carbs
Low Carb Vanilla Protein Shake, 4 strawberries, water, ice= 2 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 9

Lunch:
Lean Italian Sausage 2 pcs, 1 tsp mustard= 0 Net Carbs
Salad, 4 grape tomatoes, 4 Kalamata olives, 1 tsp pesto = 4 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 4

Dinner:
Lean Italian Sausage 2 pcs, 1 tsp mustard= 0 Net Carbs
Cubanelle peppers 2 fried = 3 Net Carbs
4 Kalamata olives = 0 Net Carbs

Total Net Carbs: 3

Snack:
1/2 cup Unsweetened Chocolate Almond milk = 1 Net Carbs
Sugar free Jello = 0
1 cup popcorn = 4 Net Carbs
Total Net Carbs: 5

Note to self:
SELF!!!  Yippee!!! I’m getting back in the swing of things.  Now if I can only hit my target.  I was doing great until my kids popped some popcorn tonight and I scooped a handful, the old me would’ve popped herself up a bag but the new me (well at least for this week) opted for a handful and then tracked it in my food log.

Oh ya one more thing...Holy Cow I can’t believe there’s 7 carbs in 1/2 cup of milk, that’s alot.  Tomorrow I’m going to try and drink my coffee without milk, I doubt I’ll enjoy it.
