Meatza Pizza Recipe

“Tastes like a pizza but there’s no dough.  Serve with a tossed salad or marinated veggies.”

There’s two recipes

Meatza Recipe # 1


1 lb lean ground beef
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup low-sugar pizza sauce
chopped Canadian bacon
low-fat pepperoni
green peppers
sliced olives
your favorite pizza seasoning, to taste Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Meanwhile, brown the ground beef; drain.
Place meat in a mixing bowl and mix with 1 cup of mozzarella.
Spread the mixture into a circle on a round pizza pan or baking stone (I prefer the stone).
Top with 1/2 cup pizza sauce.
Top with the rest of the mozzarella, optional toppings and seasonings.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.

Meatza Recipe # 2

This Meatza pizzas is broiled rather browning the meat, then adding the topping etc.


About 1¼ lbs. hamburger  or Italian sausage
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons oregano
Sugar free pizza sauce
Pizza toppings such as mushrooms, green pepper, onions, pepperoni, olives etc.


Oven Method:
Mix the meat, salt and spices together, and spread the meat out on a baking sheet with sides (such as a jelly roll pan). You want the meat spread thin, but without holes.
Bake in a 375° F. oven for about 10 minutes.
Pour off the grease.
Cover the meat with pizza sauce.
Cover with cheese and your choice of pizza toppings.
Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Serve with a tossed salad or marinated veggies.
