My Low Carb Weekly Dinner Menu

Monday March 29, 2010 – Sunday April 4, 2010

Roasted rosemary chicken
Roasted acorn squash
Green salad with pesto dressing

Chicken souvlaki
Taziki (sour cream, cucumber dip)
Green salad with vinaigrette

Burgers (no bun) with toppings: tomato slice, mayo, avocado, onion
Green salad with vinaigrette
French fries (for family)

Going to a restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (She picks the restaurant), her birthday is tomorrow but since it’ll be Good Friday & we can’t eat meat her birthday dinner is tonight.

Friday April 2, 2010
My daughter’s 9th birthday & Good Friday
Pasta with rapini (for kids)
Tuna salad for me
Green salad with vinaigrette
Birthday cake and ice cream

Taco salad, lean ground beef, on top  of lettuce, toppings, salsa, olives, cheese, sour cream
Green salad with vinaigrette
Corn (for kids)

Sunday April  4, 2010
Easter – people over for dinner
Roasted turkey
Roasted broccoli
Green salad with vinaigrette
Mashed potatoes (for family)
Gravy (for family)
Sausage Sage Stuffing (for family)
Dessert: cake & ice cream

Snacks:  (not all in one day)
1 c Celery sticks
1 sugar free biscotti
½ c Cantaloupe (1of 2 per day)
1 serving- Source Yogurt ( 2 of 2 per day)
2 c Popcorn ( 1 of 2 per day)
10 almonds ( 2 of 2 per day)

Exercise: Elliptical 45 minutes = 450 calories burned – 5 times a week
